Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm milk 110°F
  • tsp active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3½ to 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Additional butter for brushing

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add honey, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
  3. Slowly add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes or use a stand mixer with a dough hook.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Brush hot rolls with melted butter. Serve warm with cinnamon honey butter.
