Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm milk about 110°F
  • 1 packet 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 4 tbsp melted butter plus more for brushing
  • 1 large egg
  • 3½ to 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. n a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add the remaining sugar, honey, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
  3. Slowly add flour and salt, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm spot for 60–70 minutes until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape into rolls and place on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Cover and let the rolls rise again for 30–40 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake rolls for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Brush hot rolls with melted butter and serve warm with cinnamon honey butter.
