n a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
Add the remaining sugar, honey, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
Slowly add flour and salt, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm spot for 60–70 minutes until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape into rolls and place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let the rolls rise again for 30–40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake rolls for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush hot rolls with melted butter and serve warm with cinnamon honey butter.
